I think that is very interesting! I'm not a nail biter, used to be a nail splitter LOL. but I think it has something to do with your nerves being calmer? I know we're consumed (sometimes) re not smoking but I'm feeling a bit more relaxed, you too Trail? You're on Chantix, right? I am thinking this is a miracle drug. I'll keep track to see if any of my habits have changed and let you know. I still don't want to cook LOL. Danielle Oh how interesting and how it all makes since. Yes I am much more relaxed Marie. I did my quit with Chantix but have not used it for about 3 months. Chantix is very good. But you still have to want the quit more than smoke. Nothing is easy. No Marie I don't want to cook ether. I seem to go out to eat more because it taste so good and I don't have to worry about my needing to go smoke. A curious side effect of my not stop smoking. I seem to have stopped biting my finger nails. And I have not did it. Had not even thought of it. Just noticed that all my nails were growing and weren't bitten off to the cuticle. VERY INTERESTING don't you think?? Trailbum, Many quitters have noticed this benefit. It could be in part due to the following: * You body is no longer being robbed of essential vitamins responsible for nail growth. * Increased blood flow. * Less anxiety due to the constant withdrawal a smoker will experience throughout the day. * The broken habit of hand to mouth. * You nails aren't being damaged from the cigarette that used to be in your hand. Enjoy! Danielle ________________________ The SSC Support Team
