Thanks Trish. It's just so hard to believe that it can be that way most of the day. But I guess this disorder can do so much to you!

Hi Sherri Ann, The tingling sensations in your extremities is caused by heighted hyperventalion, sometimes unnoticeable to us. From anxiety. When this happens, your blood flow naturally goes to your larger muscles, in a natural fight or flight response, so you get the tingling sensations in the smaller areas where muscles are. Some people can feel the heightened hyperventilation, by having "air hunger", where you are breathing, but you feel you just are filling the lungs up to full capacity. Abdominal breathing exercises will help this to dissipate, before it goes into a panic mode. Hope this helps, Trish

Yes, I have those too, little sensations that can be anything from a pain in the shoulder, face or scalp tingling, you name it. Tiny annoyances that most people don't notice can move to the forefront of my mind and stick there. I have problems getting rid of them myself. But I guess that the key is not to get rid of them but how to manage with them. Somedays are much better than others, somedays I don't notice them at all.

Does anyone else experience body sensations all day long that keep them in anxiety mode? I challenge my thinking on these to keep from a panic attack, but it is hard when all day long I feel like I'm vibrating inside and like my hands, arm, or feet are going to fall asleep all the time (they don't actually fully fall asleep during the day, but I wake up with it at night). I keep telling myself that it is panic disorder, but it happens even when I'm not panicking. It's hard to keep challenging this one.
