Quitters who have gustatory hallucinations, a predilection for tootsie pops and steering wheels who have quit for an excess of 77 days have an excellent chance of success. (This comes from a highly reliable source!!) Gonnadoit How many packs were you smoking per day? Looks like a really high number. You need to quit :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 306 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,604 Amount Saved: $1606.5 Life Gained: Days: 57 Hrs: 5 Mins: 15 Seconds: 8

Hello gonnadoit No magical pill, glad you are doing well. The wanting wont go away on day 90; it is gradual and I happy that you are getting well. You can do a web search on goggle key words "duration of quit" where you will find some rather boring studies. They indicate that sustained will power at three months shows a good chance of a successful quit. Be positive, you will get there this time. Congratulation dear on your decision to stay quit. Analysis indicates a three months quit is a big, big milestone showing that the individual has sustaining will power and better than 50% chance of no relapse. Gonnadoit You have got to get away from those bad things. Three packs is a horrible amount of punishment. No more, time to say bye, bye. Don't look back and get it done this time. Remember the reasons for your quit that will help see you through.

Where you getting those stats, Stickin? I am at 70+ days now...some days I am on top of the world and others I am STILL struggling. So in 20 days it will all be better? I sure hope so! Last time I lost it at 80.... However, the Chantix HAS to be a gift from God. I feel more confident and the craves are diminished by half, atleast.... I do believe***please, please, please***this is 'IT'!!! ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 77 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,894 Amount Saved: $616 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 0 Mins: 19 Seconds: 31

Smoked for 34 years.....was at three packs a day when I quit. I have struggled with this for the last 6 months. Did real well on the patch, 'till I went to the lowest dose, then I would smoke... This last time I weaned from the patch to Chantix.....what a God-send! This is the first time I have EVER went nicotine-free in 34 years---it's GREAT!!! The Chantix knocks the cravings immensely..... :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 77 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,896 Amount Saved: $616 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 0 Mins: 24 Seconds: 5

Everyone will be different! Statistics show all kinds of figures and it is important to note that your quit is your own and you can make it succeed! You all have amazing quits and lots of advice to give :) Keep Strong, Josie ______________________ The SSC Support Team.
