Sorry Kait, I haven't gone through a holiday yet. But I can give you some advice. Just ask me, I always have an opinion!
I think you can worry yourself too much about what may or may not happen in this or that situation, and frighten yourself silly if you do so. The "what if" string is quite long (I can run that string for days) but if you just prepare yourself with your own coping skills, ie take along your water and hard candies and gum and such, you will be just fine. If you feel threatened at any time, do please by all means go for a walk. Walking is one of the most effective stress reducers of all.
And don't forget to breathe. One of the doctors at work taught me "four square breathing". You inhale to the count of four, you hold it in to the count of four, you exhale to the count of four, then hold it out to a count of four. Repeat this four times. By the time you are done, the crave or the stress has dissipated (and there is sound physical reason for this which I wont go into...aren't you glad?) and it's really impossible to think of anything else when you are counting your breaths or counting while holding it. Honest.
Hang in there, you are doing great with your 13 days.
