Once you quit smoking, you're a non-smoker. Period. The rest is history! :) Cheers, nmc My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 114 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,143 Amount Saved: $570 Life Gained: Days: 21 Hrs: 5 Mins: 48 Seconds: 36

Don't keep amazing me, after all if I can stick to it you can as well. Do not be the person who has quit for many, many months or years and somehow gets caught up smoking again; do not do this. Once you quit, you are quit and that is a final. You can not allow yourself to be caught up in an exceptional moment and think that having a smoke will somehow fill a void, even after 11 or 15 years; it is non-sense, so don't make sense of it. Your assumption that, for the moment, I think it may help me, but how are you going to feel the next day when you have blown your quit. Your only choice is not to pick up that cigarette ever again NOPE If blessed with the quit, continue with it, and be grateful that you have it. Help others to arrive at your destination and conclusion that, to light up can be a conscious choice, not just an overwhelming habit. Still struggling with ocasional momentary thoughts (when mad, upset or nervous) that a cigarrette will make it all better. I know it won't, but those thoughts are there...do they ever go away completely?
