I found some very interesting stats on quitting odds and other stuff. Since I have just a wee bit of time, I�m making dinner; I will post the quitting odds now and the other stuff on some other days. These stats say that it isn�t over until it is over. Here it is:
Average number of attempts required for successful smoking cessation 7. (You don�t need 7, I did it in 1)
Chances of staying smoke-free after quitting for one year: 85 percent ( Oh my, God never, would have thought that the percentage would be quit so low.)
Check this out: After five years: 97 percent
Chance of relapse after 2-6 years: 2 percent to 4 percent each year
After 10 years: less than 1 percent
So my quit buddies, my oh my, we do have our work cut out for us!
