Hey My name is NIKOLE.I know exactly what your going through. As time goes by you'll see that this is fear. False Evidence Appearing Real.Hopefully knowing that will help you get through it.I get those same feelings and I wish there was a quick fix to it,but I haven't found one yet.We just have to stay strong and allow it to pass.Because it will pass eventually.I hope that we all find a way to cure this despair. Good Luck ;)

No you're not the only one Bec. I know this feeling well. Especially head racing and thinking you're losing your mind. Are you new to panic attacks? If you are then this is probably the most scary part of it. Because it's all new and seems very very real. Try to take some comfort in knowing that there are heaps of people, myself included, on this forum who go through the same horrible experience. Not being able to remember exactly what you've thought is really common too. All gets muddled up and makes anxiety worse to boot! I've had really bad stints of memory loss from panic. It does come back though. The effects of the panic are not lasting and do not cause damage. If it helps any what you're experiencing is called "Depersonalisation". It's all part of panic. Hope this has proved comforting to you. Take care and keep us posted. :)

Hi guys... First I want to thank all of you for your support. This week has been pretty rough but I was starting to feel a little better, then this morning when I woke up, I was so anxious I felt like I was going crazy. Then my mind started to race and everything felt so unreal. The thing that makes me nervous is that whenever I take a panic test, it asks me what I think about when my mind races, and my choice are things like work, finance, school, etc. I'm not thinking about any of these things when my mind races. I have these bizzarre, off the wall thoughts that I can't even remember when all is said and done. And what's worse is that I have several panic attacks a day. I really think that I might be losing my mind, as I am having such unreal thoughts. when I'm having a panic attack, it seems like I'm remembering something, but how can I remember something that isn't real. Maybe I'm just getting trapped in my thoughts and mixing stuff all up. Then my heart starts to race and my body goes numb. Help!!!! Am I the only one who feels like this?
