Jan, my mom's best friend quit using Zyban and she is in her early 70's and smoked her whole life. She's never felt better! My doctor actually mentioned it today if the Chantix (at increase dosage) does not help me as I had a mini-panic attack (which I can normally control but I couldn't today).
I wish you continued success.
Marie

I have been taking Zyban for over a week now, my quit date is Jan. 13. The urge to smoke is declining, and taste...well not that cigarettes ever tasted good at the best of times, but now....yuck!!!!
I certainly don't have that feeling of "doom" that can accompany a quit. That "how will I make it through" feeling. None of that. I feel relaxed, and just know with a great deal of clarity that I want to be a non smoker.
Just my thoughts.
Cheers,
Jan
