Super,
Rework the program and remember this is a learning experience and practicing this new habit of not smoking takes time before it becomes second nature.
Take some time to look at your last quit attempt. Pull out the strategies that worked best for you when trying to fight cravings and modify/change the ones that didn't. What led to your
slip/relapse? Any triggers? How will you get around them this time?
Furthermore, take some time to observe your current routines. When do you smoke? why? and strengthen your quit plan by basing it on your observations.
Ex: You use to have coffee and a cigarette first thing in the morning. Now you'll read the paper while drinking your coffee?
Lastly, rewards are important. Were you keeping up with yours? They keep us from feeling deprived and help us to stay motivated so be sure to revise your reward system if it wasn't working for you.
Keep persevering.

Set a new date and get back as soon as possible. You have days where you didn't smoke. No one can take those away from you. Now you can start again and continue to add days one day at a time. Get rid of all the matches, lighter, ash trays, butts, whatever there is that may trip you up. Duh!!! Get rid of the cigs. Hope to "see" you soon.

you realize that the demon is in control.....do you realize that you "let" him take back the control?? This is merely about "choosing" your path......choose the smooth one and don't look back...when you feel him nudge you...that's the time to get a reward and press onward. don't allow yourself to go to him in thinking...the result is usually to let him take back the control.
hating what you are doing is ok....so do something about it....smack that junky out of the driver seat and take over yourself
stick close to here.....tell yourself you need mass approval here before you can light up.....and we all know that aint' gonna happen...hence you will be safe?? ;) plan how you are gonna win. any winner I ever knew had a plan and dicipline to stick with it.
