Peter Jennings, a handsome man, international reporter, quit smoking at age 40 or something like that and took it up the day of 9/11. He died of lung cancer in 2006. He had stopped smoking for over 20 years. I'm going to find a picture of him and hang it on my fridge.
For some reason, though my own Aunt died of lung cancer, I think that because he stopped for so long and then started back on those evil cigarettes, I can't get him out of my head today.
Still at work, using my boss' time to check in and say hello. I had one bad, bad moment, but I got through it and knowing that I'll see a TWO tomorow is keeping me going.
Can anyone relate or can you share someone who you think about for the QUIT?
Marie
