I remember day 10 being pretty bad. It was the worst day up until that point. I remember posting that and thinking that I was going to get somebody posting to me that I was being ridiculous... that there's no WAY day 10 could have been worse than Hell Week... nope, I got a lot of people saying that the second week was worse for them too! I was FLOORED! And then I didn't feel so bad about having a REALLY tough day in week 2. This site really helped me through that.
Then, days 30-34 were miserable. Absolutely miserable! Definitely, by far, the hardest period of my quit, way back in July before I reset my meter. The "30-day pit" sure got me! The funny thing was that I didn't know that 30 days was a typical rough spot. I think if I'd known that, I would have done better... as it was, on day 34, I broke down and smoked. I had a lot of other issues going on at the time in my life that I had to deal with as well and I'd had all I could take and broke down. After that, I learned to rely on the site and post BEFORE I smoke and wait for 10 responses. Hasn't failed yet... if I've done that, I've made it through. It was the times I thought I was strong enough to do it alone that I messed up.
Crave the Quit!
