In the first few days of my quit, I wanted a place like that so bad.
However, I found the SSC instead.
I NOW think that if I went back to smoking, I could not check myself into such a rehab. See, someone said that when you are ready to quit, you will quit. Now, nobody said that that "moment" that you realize you want to quit will come before you quit......... Mine sure didn't. Mine came in my first week. As a cold turkey quitter, the withdrawls hit me hard. I didn't even quit for me. I did it for my hubby. But then, something happened. I decided to take control. Whinning and thinking of how miserable I was, and how much I wanted to have one more smoke, well that wasn't working.
So a bunch of quitters in there for a week or two doing that exact same thing, would very much alter my thinking.
So, back to my point. Rehab = NO.......... SA(Smokers Annon.) = YES
It is nice to be able to vent all of lifes frusterations, and SA allows that. Its nice to cry up a river once in a while just to let it out.
Learning a new life is a joy for me, not a life sentence. I embrace and love the gift that I have been given. I respect and honor my second chance. I will do it with love, honor, humility, and peace in my heart. And I get to share all of that..............
