I slipped up last week, a real bad un . It came out of nowhere BANG! before i knew what was going on i was laid out. Its them damned Banana skins, really hurt my elbow and my behind. But nearly forty days in and its the only slip i have to report. Feeling very pleased with myself for getting this far and although i haven't really scratched the surface yet i am expecting a rather extra special treat from Santa for getting this far. The big test is approaching at a rapid rate knots and the lure of partying until my eyes bleed is as exciting as it is a worry . But never the less i will try to refrain from smoking and bleeding from the eyes or anywhere else for that matter, and will start 2007 a much healthier if not a slightly hungover person. So with no further a do i will bid you all a very happy Christmas and the Very best of new years. :)

Alexander,
Congratulations on your 38 days quit! You are doing great! Now as for those banana peels, watch where you are going!!!! LOL And by all means, enjoy yourself with the partying during the holidays because you won't have time to smoke what with taking care of those "bleeding eyes."
LOL Stay strong and keep the quit!!!

A very merry Christmas to you as well, Alexander. You'll make it through this holiday season!
One slip? I think you've done a fine job. Pick up and carry on as you have been and you'll be right as rain. You've got the right frame of mind.
Have a Christmas drink for me as well!!!! Oh...I guess I'll probably having one of my own.
Enjoy your holidays, and I hope Santa is good to you for all your hard work!
Christmas cheers,
Jan
Alex, please be very careful when you are partying...it gets harder when you have lost some of your common sense trust me!

Happy Holidays to you as well, Alexander!
Being 38 days quit is GREAT! Never sell yourself short.
Just don't let yourself off the hook. Pick yourself up and hop right back into your quit. You can do it!
I was just wondering what you meant by this?

TRY????? You MUST. It is not an option. "Trying" doesn't get you anywhere. "Doing" is what does.
Take care of yourself, and be careful. Don't ever put your quit in jeapordy. Odds are, you will lose. Especially when alcohol is involved.........
