Hi Rainie,
I know, huh? Quite a realization. I remember when they used to pawn smoking off as a "bad habit"...even on quit smoking commericials on TV "KICK the HABIT". Now, for the first time in history, I believe, I witnessed a commercial encouraging people to quit smoking. They actually used the phrase "nicotine addiciton" 2 or 3 times. The nasty beast is going to be exposed for what he is..a horrible addiction! My thoughts are with you today. I noticed your meter is on 0..are you smoke free today or starting tommorrow? Well, glad you are prepared for "withdrawals", because us addicts do have to go through withdrawal. I know that you have read about it; sleeplessness, dizziness, crying, wanting, craving, inability to concentrate. Use the coping techniques you learned here at scc...distract, avoid, delay. You will do great because you are prepared. my best to you today!
