How many more people joined this website for the first week of Jan 2007 compared to other one week periods? jbr13, January is our busiest time of the year! I am unsure as to the exact number but I can tell you the posts have doubled, sometimes tripled in volume since Christmas. We have MANY new members on our site, let's make sure we help each & everyone! Danielle ________________________ The SSC Support Team

Actually the talking horse has no idea! People join without posting, people post once or twice then stop. I'm not sure what to do - add them to the quitters' list or not. I'm sure there's people on my list who are no longer quit, but there is no way for me to find out. I would suggest that Week 1 in the Year is at least 3-4 times more popular than any other. And Jan 1st would be the most popular quit date of all (I believe there were at least 15-20 Jan 1st quitters) Mr Ed :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 328 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 9,856 Amount Saved: 2460 Life Gained: Days: 53 Hrs: 12 Mins: 59 Seconds: 28

Maybe the talking horse will know! It does seem like a lot though. Mr. Ed, I think you are right...there's no way to keep track of those who join and post once or twice and then never come back. It always makes me a little sad to see so many of our members pour their hearts and souls out to people who never show up again after the first post. But I suppose it's good reinforcement for all of us even if we're the only ones listening!
