On day... whatever. 15? Guess I'm not so focused on it anymore! I've changed my obsessive thinking from cigarettes to food. I too, ate lots of sugar yesterday in the form of chocolate. Today I'm not going to do that. It doesn't make me feel too good about myself, so I'm going to "treat" myself with it a little and not allow myself to be a pig. I'm doing well otherwise. I have also viewed it as a celebration rather a negative, and have stayed positive for the most part. Coming here has helped, but agree with Monica on that you can be here too much, and it makes it worse. So, I check it from time to time, read posts, and throw in my 2 cents once in a while.
I ordered a book called The Good Mood Diet... not as much for the diet, but for the healthy eating tips. I'm convinced there are foods we can be eating that will restore our energy and make us feel good, which will help with the craves. I'll keep you posted on anything I learn in this regard.
Nice to have this big group of New Years quitters. I'll be glad to get to know you all! Thanks for starting this, Marie!
