Thanks Danielle!
I really thought that it was the Chantix! LOL My co-workers and I have lots of laughs with the gas! I guess I'll have to come up with a new diversion for us all! LOL

LOL Kiwi.. thanks for sharing that!
Cold turkey here, and ended up taking lorazapam for the severe anxiety I was going through well into my quit. I wouldn't go through this again for anything, so I guess that can't start again.

Hi Anna,
Cold turkey here and not much withdrawal symptoms. A tiny cranky sometimes but.....isn't anybody a little cranky sometimes? Non smokers are cranky as much as smokers are I think.
Other than that I am a happy quitter.

I am a Chantix user also. I have quit previously using other methods as well. I don't think it is Chantix you are necessarily observing. People respond differently to the whole quit process...
Personally, I have had my 'moments' during this quit, but truthfully, they are fewer than other methods I have tried in the past by far.

Chicknoodle,
Increased flatulence is a common withdrawal symptom among quitters. It is related to your gut moving slower than it use to as it is no longer being stimulated by nicotine.
This is temporary and it does pass. Increasing your level of physical activity may also be helpful to get your bowels moving.

Hey there anna, you're doing extremly well !
I quit Cold Turkey. For the first 3 weeks i could've killed something. I completely destroyed my laptop by throwing it our the window & was so grouchy for 3 months that i got on my own nerves.
I couldn't go through that again !
