Hi Interesting, yes, I spent alot of time here those first couple of days, thought I couldn't do it. So glad I have some time under my belt. Don't stay too far away, I know it's hard to make the time but it helps doesn't it? WTG on the long drive and 4 weeks is huge!
Karen, don't beat yourself up. I'm taking Chantix so even if I did have a drag, I would not have enjoyed it as they make cigs taste horrible so there was no point for me. I'm glad you picked yourself up and dusted off and know your triggers. For me, the biggest trigger is stress on the homefront, always something to attend to. I want to reward myself with a cigarette still, but I find I think about them less daily.
One of the biggest pluses is not searching for matches, lighter, being able to get out of the car without saying "where's my cigs".
Hope others check in today.
I commend your honest Karen. Believe me, I was tempted. I work with and have family smokers. I can't avoid them ;)
