This really shows how easy it is to get hooked again. I feel really bad about myself, the fact that I blew a 12 week quit (my third attempt). I found out my dog had cancer and they wanted to take her leg off which I could've never handled so I had her put to sleep. I loved my dog!! Before I took her to the vet that day I went and bought a pack of smokes cause I thought it might make it easier.... Well, that was 8 wks ago and I'm still smokin........God!! I was doing so good I thought. Smokin is really bad news. I'm laid off from work and I've been spending money that should go for bills on smokes. I cashed in a jar of change I had been saving for a while and bought a box of patches and tomorrow I'm starting my last and final Quit!!!!!!!!!! I got away from coming here and reading posts and all and I need to come here for support............I really need all the help I can get!!! Thanks for listening everyone :8o: Sharon My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 0

Good luck on this quit Sharon, the same as yourself I am back, tail between the legs to start over. One good thing about this place is that there's nobody who doesn't know what it feels like. We've all been there and know what it is like, so welcome back and may this be the best one. Hello Sharon, It sounds like You have Your heart in the right place, and a great Attitude Sharon, guess You just got to get Your mind right now, To me it seems like Everyone is tested when they decide to quit smoking, Where before when We was on that roller coaster ride with every day problems in life, We though a cigerette solved our problems, We thought, Far from it Sharon, I remember back when I first started on this smoking website, after 6 or 8 weeks of my quit, lost a younger Brother to a heartattack and we had a nice fishing trip all planned out the following week, If anyone needed a cigerette at that time, had to have been me, but I though to myself, brother Mike wouldn't have wanted me to have a cigerette because of His passing on, and I used that for a Motivation,, and never looked back after that in my quit, I've always told a lot of quitters to Grit Your Teeth, and get the Eye of the Tiger, because if that Nickodemon spots a weakness in You, He will exploit You out, and bring You back down from that cloud nine, You got it in You Sharon, You have proved it, 12 weeks without a cig, ''Just Do It,''' Smokless In Oklahoma :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/10/2003 Smoke-Free Days: 1414 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 42,426 Amount Saved: $6051.92 Life Gained: Days: 321 Hrs: 14 Mins: 18 Seconds: 46
