Oh my, loooooooook ouuuuutttttt, Mr.M your meter is ticking ;)
How's day 2 going for you???? Did you get a hole in one golfing yesterday? Are you eating your oranges and having your cake too? Hope you've updated your post...just woke up...will be looking for it.
Thank you so much for thinking of me! It's so nice to know you've got my back and are here watching out for me.
Oh no, I think I made another boo boo  some time ago and unintentionally misled you and even myself about my quit date. I thought it was all 3 of us shipmates going in 3 consecutive days lol, then I looked at the calendar and as usual I'm off by one day. I had to ask Rainie to clarify, as I thought I had lost my mind and she confirmed, my quit day is tomorrow. I promise to make it up to you tomorrow Rick :eg:
I'll give you an update anyways, in case you've got time on your hands today. As you know, I've been cutting back in planned but not rigid steps. I'm really happy with how my cutting back has gone. It took some fortitude and persistence to go from 40 to 2 in just over a month, but I did it. Now I am aware that I can indeed control my response to this addiction. How delicious to be so close to freedom day and already feel free in my heart. Now I just have to work on the mind....lol, that's the hard part for me.
Today I woke up after 4 refreshing (that's the most in several days) hours of fitful sleep. It was so nice to not have to jump out of bed and rush to get that fix. I'll be happy though when I stop coughing up part of my lungs and be able to sleep even part way through the night. If you don't hear from me early tomorrow (or even all day), don't worry, I'll just be catching up on a whole bunch of missing sleep. The med is responsible, but it's worth all the side effects as I haven't had to rely on willpower alone to get through the
