Good morning Shipmates!!! Yesterday was great I spent the whole day with my daughter! We giggled and laughed and had a great time! Made a BIG pot of hot spicy chili for the game and simmered for hours! Yum yum!! For the Soaker Bowl I just laid on my duff in my pj's and put my hand to my head each time one of the teams fumbled the ball!!! Danielle, I gotta tell you, like Pat says it really is an easy go of this quit. Not to say I don't get moments of "oh I could go for a smoke" but they literally just sail on by. I have my sights set on any that come by and want to duke it out... I will win. It is sort of nice to watch those craves/urges go on by because now the panic is gone and I know they will! Ok, we definatly have a new dj...great music choices! May I add one? "walk on by"!! Pat/congrats on the whole week! You were like a rock!! Keep up the good work and the funny posts!! Hey Ho Capn! What great music to get back on board to! Woo hoo had a great time yesterday! I didn't have one single ingle tingle for smokin! Except Smoke won! You should have seen some of those moves! Yes I got pics! Sorry not twinkle eyes...I do have one of his car and a bunch more to send my seat mate! Julie, the waffles were right on time this morning! Yum yum and if you can be a size 3 I can be a 4 as I am 5'7" and I think a 3 would just make me look too waif like!!! I am so ready for Jamaica! I love to go jet skiing there. No thoughts of smoking when you are in the water. I am so discovering the key to my quit is staying busy and keeping my mind busy! Good morning, everyone! Wow is Jamaica awesome or what? I couldn't believe it when I opened my well rested (cuz I do not, I repeat, I do not wake up coughing at all anymore)eyes this morning and saw that beautiful beach! *not the REAL beach...wink wink as M'Lady would say* You know who met me as I jumped on my jet ski? The wonderful "NIDS" (No I Don't Smoke)was swimming right along side of me! And as you know, I can squeak dolphin and she said that she is so proud of the Magic Ship!! She actually did 3 backflips and an honorary splash at ship. It was such loud applause the water sort of went over the deck. I am pretty sure that was M'Lady shreeking as the water hit her margarita! Things are actually going well! I was actually feeling a little odd about no one at work (ok 1) noticing that I don't smoke. Well, yesterday, I had slap that darn urge down like the maggot he is! He actuall said, (I speak nic too) "Come on, you obviously didn't smoke that much. No one is even noticing that you aren't smoking"! Well, I gave him such a knuckle sandwich that he flew into next week. Woo hoo won't be seein' him for atleast a week!!! So party on mates! I have taken care of ol' knuclehead so there will be not one urge, crave, or even a moment of weakness for anyone!!!! Ok now that all that lecturing is over! Yes I know it was very well worth it but between our day off from my tornados and last night getting all serious and all.... We have not decided on our next location!!!! Phil, I won 400,632 gazillion dollars for you yesterday at the casino!!! It was a great day, indeed. Today is a great day too... I was up and out of bed at least 5 minutes before any thought of smoking popped into my head! I don't have cravings at all in the mornings (my previously fav time to smoke)! I usually have a thought immediatly when my eyes pop open..."ya, right, I don't smoke...new routine" but that is it these days! And today a whole 5 minutes with out the POP!!! People...it IS getting easier!!! The arguments in my head are lessening too. Freemom, you & me got the "bad spirit in the head" sickness for sure! That has been my biggest battle so far. I am going to have to jump ship on Saturday and fly back to Florida. *Rainie is begging Pat to ask why* *Please, please, please ask why???** Cus Sat is the Bud Shootout and I will rompin at the track all day!!! And I will be very proud to romp without anything but my camera and photos for autographs!!! Oh yeah, one more thing...I use to drink a glass of wine probably 1 or 2 nights a week and could handle a few more on one or the other weekend nights...now whats up with this?? I have not wanted, really not even crossed my mind to, have a glass? Even had pasta the other night and declined? I wonder if it is the Chantix? Capn? Have a great day to the best shipmates ever! Holy cow where do I begin? Ok, we will start here...2 weeks! And everyone sit down I have something to tell you. Hubby & I were snugglin on the couch last night watchn American Idol (my fav)and he finally said...so how's the not smokin' thing going? "Well, there are good moments and not so good moments" and he said... drum roll please. "I am so proud of you, I know its not easy" He asked me questions about things tasting better or not, how I felt etc.... I know its hard for a never smoked a day in his life guy to understand what I am doing but he sure cares! I am so upset about my eating habits and the ship. I really must demand (since nicely requesting has worked!! HUMPF!) that we have some good stuff on the ship too. These are things that I crave! I know I am a fussy eater but could we add a second entree onto tonights menu? I JUST CAN'T eat a baby cow. I am begging you please!!! Now, Pat, you know you can come with me! You can hang with us all during Speedweek! My goal is to try and get you Bobby Labonte's autograph so that you are forever in my debt and can help me lobby for my kind of food!!!! Everyone is doing so well, I agree! How is the kid this morning freemom? Still feeln' punky? You know, on my way into work this morning...driving right along side the beach, I could envision all of us dancing right through the surf as it meets the shore...woo hoo beach watch out...the party is on its way!
