Well, my original quit day came and then I started smoking again. The good news is, I am ready today to be done! I feel even more determined this time around. I am doing this cold turkey, and am just looking at it in very short term increments, such as, I tell myself, "I can make it through the next hour." When that hour is over, I tell myseld since I just made it through the last hour, I can make it through another. It's helpful to not worry about every single situation I might come across where I'll have a trigger to smoke. Well, I just wanted to update everyone. I find that I need to stay busy to keep my major withdrawal symptoms under control. So, I'm off to vaccum, clean out the fridge and do more laundry! Woo Hoo!!
