Simon, After 65 days it's about time that you start to think like a non smoker. You have proven you don't have to smoke so act like a non smoker too. You need to know that there is nothing good on a cigaret and that you don't need the nicotine after such a long time. You made the choice to light up all by yourself and you should think twice before you do that again. Quitting smoking is positive, you have everything to win and nothing to loose. As long as you keep thinking as a smoker you will never be free of those negative thoughts. So, do yourself a favor and change you mind about smoking. Good luck. P.S. Don't blame 'Old Nic' because I'll tell you a secret about him: He doesn't exist!! :) Love the analogy, imallclear! I picture old Nicodemon as a door-to-door salesman now! And Simon says "Back on the wagon!" Good for you! Hello Simon, Take the time to dig deep and find out what will be different now than before. Dig deep, my friend, and ask yourself if your desire to quit is stronger than your desire to light up. If this commitment is not there, you will not have a forever quit. We are all right here to support you. But this battle is a walk through hell. Take the time to read old posts and to build a toolbox of coping skills that will take care of you in the tough times. Without coping skills ~ lighting up is easy. Take the time to get some distractions in place, to take you away when smoking is all you can think about. This journey is a tough journey. Don't give up. Keep putting one foot in front of the other, spend as much time here as possible, and ground your quit in your commitment. You can do this. We are all doing this, one day at a time. Please also make sure to take loving, gentle care of yourself. You are healing... the one thing that we all seem to have in common, is that we have never really learned how to take care of ourselves, and nurture ourselves. THIS is the most important lesson I can share with you on this journey... Many Blessings- Healer My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 367 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,848 Amount Saved: $1706.55 Life Gained: Days: 48 Hrs: 0 Mins: 6 Seconds: 16

Simon, Thanks for the honesty and know that we are always here to support and assist. Good for you for getting back in there! Keep those coping mechanisms around and use them at all costs. Stay away from those situations that will tempt you :) Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
