I've always had a rapid heart beat. My HR for working out is 117 according to the chart they gave me. I'd barely move along, at the slowest speed on the treadmill and I'd be up at 117 almost immediately. Yesterday I went to the gym and started going along, at a pretty good clip, increased the speed and elevation, kept going then said "what the hey, take the HR" I put my hands on the sensors and it topped at 107! I had to get it in gear even harder to get it up to my normal 117!
Not smoking has slowed my heart rate down to normal! I am just so jazzed about this!
