Hi Hempfiend, great to hear from you! Congrats on the new job. You should try to find a way to remind yourself to take your pills earlier in the day and finish them off according to the precript. What about a watch or cell phone alarm? Would that help? Also, you won't lose your quit if you don't want to lose it. You have come so far already, almost a month, so keep going. Smoking is not an option! NOPE :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 31 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 783 Amount Saved: $327.05 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 18 Mins: 51 Seconds: 32

In my situation I statyed on the pills for about 3 months after quitting. I also would forget to take them, I just stopped. I told myself if I felt like I was slippping I would get back on them. Hempfiend, It is best to talk to your doctor about your medication and the dosage. The two of you will discuss if this type of medication is for you at this time in your quit? I have just looked at your meter and you are over a month quit! Congratulations for making it to 34 plus days. Thanks for posting your question. Keep us posted on your decision with your medication and also daily with your quit. Melanie ___________________________ The SSC Support Team

Hey everyone!! I just wanted to say hello!!.. Ive started my new job, and am working from 7pm to 1am, and dealing with kids all day....needless to say I don't have much time to come on.....BUT I'M STILL NOT SMOKING ;).. (theres a HUGE trigger there...having a break at work, and not RUNNING for the door to light up!!!) I have a question... Im still using Zyban, and still have another 3 weeks left of pills to take. The thing is...I keep on forgetting to take my pill!!! and by the time i remember is like 3 or 4 pm, so i only end up taking 1 a day..(if i take 1 before 8pm..i cant sleep!!) ...So im debating just not taking them anymore.. (The side effects are also starting to worsen) Has anyone gone off them earlier then advised?? Are my chances of staying quit lowered???
