I thought of another one that really helped me in the beginning...
Cravings will not kill you... but smoking very well may.
Aunt Deb, the acronym N.O.P.E. has been around this site far longer than me... I have NO idea who the originator was, but I'm sure that he/she probably no longer comes to this site. Perhaps Katy or Bubba may know where it came from (since they've been around this site almost since the beginning), but I have no idea. It's a great little acronym, and I wear it everyday (on my bracelet) to remind myself of it.
MomMom, I really liked yours especially because it relates to something that I went through after I quit... I suddenly realized that I could do ANYTHING I wanted to do... I mean, it couldn't POSSIBLY be any harder than quitting smoking, so why not give it a try? What a wonderful outlook on life you have!
Crave the Quit!
