If you could tell someone just one thing about smoking and/or quitting, in just one sentence, what would it be? hoose the one thing that you think is the most important thing that somebody who smokes or is thinking about quitting or is brand new to the quit should know.
For me, that thing was...
Social smokers have a genetic defect that allows them to smoke socially.
That one thing was the turning point for me in the quit and is what made my quit successful and I learned it on this site. Before this quit, I thought that after a certain amount of time, I could smoke "just one" when I REALLY needed one... but we ALL know what happens when we do that.
So what one thing changed your entire perspective on smoking? Or what one piece of information helped you become a non-smoker permenantly?
