I was told by a friend that her mother, an alcoholic, has resumed drinking. When she asked her mother why, her repsonse was that her pink cloud had disappeared. It seems that one goes through a period of eurphoria after a period of times has elapsed. And once her pink cloud vanished, the quit seemed insurmountable. We, as non-smokers, have our own pink cloud. I am in the midst of one as I write these words. Life seems good without cigarettes. I can smile once again. I know there will come a time when my pink cloud fades or perhaps disappears for a time. This is when I must fight hard! Focus on the memories of lying in the middle of my own cloud,, floating floating. Ok just some words to think about..
take care all of my dear friends
love, sally
