Unhooked, I had the same experience as you.
If I knew I couldn't smoke, then I just didn't let it bother me. I could go for a few hours... on a plane, in a non-smoking car, whatever. However, if there was an opportunity to smoke - even half a smoke - I did, regardless of the weather or anything else. Everyone else may have taken a potty break, I took a smoke break. Yes indeedy! You would think I could have quit years ago.
Funny, but I also did not walk and smoke at the same time. I, too, was a lady! I could stop and smoke, or sit and smoke, but not walk and smoke. I used to look at people who smoked while walking and thought how addicted they must be. Geesh! :gasp: LOL Couldn't smoke with gloves on, either.
I probably can't walk and chew gum, but I've never tried (don't chew gum). Some days I have enough trouble just walking! ;)
