None of us can predict the future (well some people think they can!).
We can consider scenarios, based on rationale and logic and determine
the likelihood of them occurring.
Most of our fears and anxious thoughts are not based on rationale and
logic; they make us think of scenarios which are most unlikely to
occur.
The trick is to think realistically, prepare for events that are likely to
occur, and to give yourself a break, because you cannot predict or
perfectly deal with every situation, but you can deal with any situation
if you put your mind to it.
A lot of the time its better to prepare for the important stuff, relax and
forget about the rest, and deal with it as it occurs. Easier said than
done I know, but thats got to be the goal.
