Lisa,

Good for you! It is so great that you are able to learn from past experiences, and apply lessons learned to your quit.
Keep up the great work Lisa!

I blew a 2 month quit about 4 years ago and look how long it took me to get back here, that failed quit has helped me this time though.....   I Know with all my heart that there can NEVER be just 1 cigarette and so through this quit I have fought even harder when that thought has came.

Cece,

A slip is just a slip, pick yourself up and get back on board. Learn from your slip and try to create some new coping skills for next time you are in a similar situations.

Cece, none of the craziness of quitting has rules except for the ones that YOU make. If you are still a non smoker, then you are.  I think your just fine.

I had a moment of weakness this past weekend. I appreciated being able to come back and read this. I'm not giving up on a quit, because I drank too much and made a bad decision. Are there rules about that?? Last time I tried to quit, I had a similar situation and figured, well... That's it! I failed... so I may as well fail all the way.
  Not this time. I didn't fail, I slipped. That doesn't mean I smoke. I don't smoke, I looked like a smoker for a few minutes, but if you knew me you'd know I'm a non-smoker. I have to tell myself I'm still a non-smoker.

stickin This time when I read your original post, I thought, "Isnt it funny how some people think they are rewarding themselves by smoking a cigarette" Something that will kill them, control them, make them feel ashamed. What a weird, weird, addiction. There really is no up side to it.
