Look at the bright side, the demon is weakening.
Your first find was 1/2 carton.
Your second find was 1/2 pack.
Your third find was a lonely cigarette.
Maybe the demon will give up now!
Reward yourself with that 32 cents!

Some of you may remember a few months back during one of my quits when I found 1/2 carton of cigs in my front yard and then finding a 1/2 pack on one my walks. It seems like I get tested over and over. So here is an update on my walk today . I think the monster is really testing me. While I was walking today a found a full cig. What the hell is going on? I picked it up, looked at it, smelled it and carried it for about 30 seconds and then I ripped the filter off and then proceeded to tear that dam thing into little pieces. As I ripped each piece I said to myself, " I am a non smoker!!!" So it met its death tear by tear, rip by rip.:eg: The up side I found 32 cents. :)
Hope everyone is have a good day!!
Keep the quit

Stay away from smoking butts! Actually...they've been falling all over the place lately...Yesterday, I was in my car and when I put down the visor, his smokes fell right in my lap. I told him about them and he said I could throw them out. I threw them under the seat today so I could give them back but if I ever get the urge...in the dumpster they will go. He's also got one stuck in the bricks outside the door (I think he thinks that he's fooling me!)
Congrats on 37 days you awesome lady you!

Great Job.
The more we say no to those kinds of situations the more powerful we feel.
I don't know if you caught my story about finding cigarettes in a purse. That was an ordeal for me. By saying NO to that (and it would have been REAL EASY to have cheated) was a real turning point for me.
*****After years of being controlled I don't think we appreciate it enough when we are in control*******
It feel good to be incharge.

I'm proud of you for staying the course, my friend.
Now, if you said you had found another half carton on your lawn again, I would have had to phone you, for sure.
They are just tests of our new found strength and confidence.
