Dell, Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. This will better assess the situation at hand. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any question or concerns with our €œTOOLS€, you can contact us at support@paniccenter.net. We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have. Try some relation techniques before bed, relaxing helps calm you down and you may get a better sleep. Read a book, have a hot beverage, take a warm bath, or even yoga. Hope this helps, Josie

I am new to this site and had no idea other people had this song problem. I thought it was just me because I've played piano by ear since I was 4. Now, does anyone else only have panic attacks in the middle of the night? I just wake from a sound sleep, can't breathe, talk, feel like there are bugs inside and out all over me. I take Klonopin to calm me down but it is so strange. I am 48, female...and almost always, they happen around ovulation. I take Lorezepam most evenings to keep me from stressing, but still this one I had the other night happened and it was the worst one I've ever had. Dell

HA try the Campbells soup theme day after day! That happened to me once for about a week! This works for me.....I envision the song playing on a record player and "watch" the arm move to the end of the record. usually it works....of course if you are too young to know what a record player is this is going to be a problem!

You're welcome rhonnie. I'd be happy to reply something usefull any time. And...yes, my screen name says it all, and I can't wait for the "less" part of it to turn into "ed" (hope it does some day anyway) Take care

Hi endless thanks again. Even though I knew I had the song thing happen before my pd,gad and depression, you're right the anxiety makes it worse and I just wanted reassurance from people who have these disorders! I appreciate your responses and your screen name says it all!!!

Hey rhonnie, I know I'm normal (at least as normal as one can be in this world :p ) I just put it that way cause I wanted to put out the fact that the ppl who don't have a PD or GAD have the same things happening to them. It's just that they don't pay that much attention to it as we sometimes might. Anyway, that's what the PD actually is...overreacting. Take care :)

Try putting a positive spin on it. Unless it is the annoying "Small World" song from Disney World then there could be a lot worse things to have in your noggin than a song. I love music so I doesnt bother me much to have a song stuck in there spinning. Right now I can hear "Tonight" from West Side Story in my head. I love West Side Story and I like that song too so I look at it as a blessing to have that in there rather than some other destructive thought. Keep your chin up. Mike

Hey rhonnie, it's me again. It happens sometimes to me too, and mostly when I'm off to bed. But the thing is I never found it that annoying. I've had those "expiriences" my whole life, I can even remember some of it when I was a child. I had my first panic attack about two years ago, and nothing according to those "stuck" songs, phrases or whatsoever..has changed. Since I've had it my whole life I think it's normal. Hope that the fact that "normal" ppl have those ( I was "normal" before the GAD? :p ) will help.
