Is it really so impossible?

for 17 år siden 0 3207 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
It is definitely not impossible, it is very very possible. Just decide to do it, choose your method, and stick to it..no matter what! Just thought of something. When I smoked I would always make sure I would have cigs. The few times I ran out I would go to any lengths to get some. So, why did it seem so difficult to go to any lengths to do something so nice for myself as quitting? Before I quit I thought it was impossible. Now I know how easy it is. I put a plan in place, stuck to it, asked for help when I needed it, and now smoking is out of the question. That is the winning attitute my friends. We will get there and we will stay there. Smoking does not make sense; good riddens to it! It is not a raity for someone to quit smoking, we do have the strength to quit. We just make of our mind that this is the way it is going to be and just stick with it. The good thing is that it does get easier, then easy, and then you are done. Just make sure you stay done! Impossible? NOPE! So many times I wanted to give up but I didn't and that is all that matters. Not One Puff Ever. For some it takes longer than others. Some of us have a little farther to travel but we do get there if we don't give up. One step at a time. One day at a time. Yahoo! Look at these meters! Day one or day 1,000 doesn't matter. All that matters is that we don't smoke. Yes, we are, stickin. We're doing it every day and I, for one, am so much happier for it. I absolutely agree that anyone who still hangs onto this awful addiction has an obligation to themselves to get free of it. There is no way that we can be the best people we can be otherwise. For each the amount of time varies, however if you stick to it, like so many here have experienced, you will reach a point where the desire substantially lessons and then fades. I understand it seems impossible at times, to think that you are going to feel any different than you do right now, but it happens, it happen to people all the time and can and will happen to you as well if ya dont smoke. I believe this time is your time and that you stick with this quit forever. Dont allow yourself to fall into the smoking trap again. If you are free, then I recommend that you stay that way. If you are not, I do believe that you have an obligation to yourself to let the smoke free person surface and allow him or her to start making the rational decisions. Im approaching 600 smoke free days and happy to be. I hope we all are proud of our achievements to date. We are remarkable, we are doing it!
