Yeup, I do think I’m going to vomit more than other people. Also have that horrible feeling you describe for about 20 mins after I’ve eaten anything. Really sucks. The times that I have vomited in the last 10 years or so have all been because I’ve drunk too much. The last time I vomited I had a massive panic attack, this was before I knew what a panic attack was. Before this I’d had panic attacks while intoxicated and not known what was going on. I’m a massive lightweight where alcohol, or anything else, is concerned. That coupled with the fact I hardly drink. So when I did it was like ‘whoa’ my body just couldn’t take it. Haven’t touched the stuff for a little over a year now. Haven’t wanted to, just a personal choice. I’ve never vomited while sober even when I’ve been convinced I was going to with a panic attack, never happened and I’m so thankful for this. Still doesn’t stop that horrible nausea with panic. I’m kinda used to it now, after eating. So it doesn’t bother me as much as it did. But every now and again I’ll have a panic attack after eating and then it’s over, and I’m glad again. These days though, I just get a little anxious without it escalating into a full blown attack. Like I said before, routine has had a lot to do with this. At the same time it can make you a slave to routine. I was a little concerned of this happening to begin with. But now I can eat little things without having planned ahead, and I don’t panic. I’m beginning to ramble on now lol.
The times I’ve vomited while intoxicated have been terrible. I panicked and couldn’t stop the vomiting, or catch my breath, I’d choke like anything, think I was going to pass out and die at any moment. Couldn’t speak to anyone to say ‘I’m really scared right now’that was probably the worse part, not being able to speak. One time I did it at a pub I’d only had one beer. Heh,that’s how light weight I am! Anyway I panicked and vomited for about 3 hours, it was terrifying.
Sorry to hear you’ve had this problems for so long, that’s really harsh. Something else you might like to try is enzymes.
