You're not wrong, Josh. Whatever works for you is right for you.
I am neither a coddler nor a coddlee but some quitters semm to need that & others seem to need to give it. Good for them, if it works.
I had a relatively easy quit, I guess, compared to some, but I used the patch & stuck to the whole program. I also found rewarding myself helped my focus.
Others, like you, have found cold turkey is best.
Whatever you choose, however you go about it, the important thing is to get it done.
