Here's another one I came up with to deal with annoying customers, bosses and fellow employees.I used to visualize them as braying jackasses and just smile it's amazing the reaction you get ;p and the number of cigarettes you don't smoke.

Good post Bear! That is something we can all use!
My best coping strategies are self talk, and my favorites are:
Smoking is NOT an option! NOPE!
I will not let a little cigarette run my life!
I am a non smoker!
Smoking will not make anything better at anytime for any reason!
Great idea Bear! :)

I used to be in outside sales. My first contact with a customer used to freak me out to the point were I had to smoke 3 or 4 cigarettes before a call.I mentioned this to a fellow salesman one day and he smiled and said he used to be the same way and suggested the following " When you meet a customer for the first time picture them standing before you in their underwear " it worked and even if you broke out in a little smile the customer could suspect that you knew something he did'nt.The reason I bring this up is I'm sure we have all learned little coping strategies that we could pass along to other members to help with triggers we are faced with during the day. ;p
