I have read that people with tendencys of this disorder can have an above average intelligences. Sure don't feel that way after having attack. Ha!. I do feel that people with those tendencys are very compassionate and consciences people and can be sucessful in life once we get past the fear.

I was just at the doctor yesterday to talk about my anxiety and go on meds ect... Anyways he asked me if i have ever had my IQ tested because he thinks i would score really high. I have done an internet IQ test and scored high but i never really though it was correct because it was done over the internet. It got me thinking i feel from my experiences the people who suffer with anxiety seem to have more awareness of there minds (maybe not too much! lol!) and i wonder if that would effect your intelligence or if more intelligent people devolup mental issues such as anxiety? I have been told that people with extremely high IQ's are borderline insane. Not that people with anxiety are but to people who dont suffer from it we can appear that way. Anyways i was just wondering what others feel about this please let me know. ty sarah
