I DID replace smoking with posting here. And so far it's worked ;p
I'd rather be an addict to The SSC than an addict to nicotine

I was concerned that I was replacing the craves with posting. Do it several times a day if you must. Typing keeps the hands busy and reading keeps the thoughts occupied. That is one way to work the program and win.

ILoveMyLungs,
Those cravings will begin to dissipate as you continue to practice your new habit of not smoking during those times. To help this process along,
start purposely changing your routines that you associate with craving.

Hi guys - Just checking in! The only thing keeping me sane is reading these posts and saying ONE PUFF AWAWY FROM A PACK A DAY over and over in my head. And saying it out loud in my car. And yelling it at home. I don't want to go back, I don't want to slip again, I don't want to go through hell week one more time. I'm praying that it sticks this time.
The cravings are really annoying, they just pop in and out at times when I would usually smoke. But thank GOD for the posts I read here. Well, I have to get back to work, have to keep busy :) Take care guys/gals!
