DEAR TONY75 I SHARE THE SAME PROBLEM YOU DO. IM AT MY MOST ANTICIPATING, IN THE MORNING. I ALSO FIND THIS VERY FRUSTRATING. IM GREAT BY MID-AFTERNOON. I SUPPOSE THE MORNING SIGNIFIES A NEW START, I THINK I MEASURE MY SUCESS ON HOW I PERFORMED(BASED ON MY ANXIETY LEVEL)I CAN DRIVE VERY COMFORTABLY AT NIGHT , JUST HAVE A LOT OF PROBLEMS DURING THE MORNING. (MY PANIC SEEMS TO BE TOTALLY CENTERED AROUND DRIVING . I FOUND A GOOD SITE PANICCURE.COM LOOK FOR A GUY NAMED NEIL , REALLY GOOD ADVICE ,HAS MADE ME FEEL MUCH BETTER. GOD BLESS YA!

Hi Tony, I have been having a somewhat related experience for about the last two months or so. My "anxious" thoughts seem to intensify at night though. The weird part is, lately my dreams have become more and more vivid but what really freaks me out is that whenever I have a dream featuring myself, even within the dream itself, I'm always plaugued by the panic/agoraphobia. No matter what events are occuring in my dreams, I can't participate in them due to fear or if I do, I wake up in the midst of an anxiety attack. It's very disheartening to not even be able to escape the feelings while I am sleeping. One thing I have tried doing in the morning is when I wake up, I immediately throw on my robe and go out to my backyard. Even if it's raining. The fresh air seems to sorta "snap" me out of it, and then I do some deep breathing stretches. I just find it helps get me out of my cloudy head and stops what I refer to as "the downward thought spiral". I don't know if that's any help to you, but it has sorta made my mornings more bareable. Take care. Cheers, Lolita

Hello, My question is this- Why are mornings still so tough for me? I get up and go through the same sorts of thoughts every morning. I seem to pre-judge how the day is going to be, or at least I start worrying about it. I start to think about everything ahead of me and whether I'll be up to it today. I think about everything I've been doing and whether it has been correct. It's maddening. Once I get the day truly started thngs get better. Especially in the afternoon. By the afternoon I am just about able to laugh at myself in regards to how I was questioning everything first thing in the morning. I go to bed feeling a lot better about the day and my progress. But in the morning it's like I start all over again. I'm tired of starting each day from square one. I want to continue to grow stronger but I feel that I always take a few steps back in the morning. It is very frustrating to say the least. Can anyone offer and words of wisdom on this subject? Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks to everyone. Sincerely, -Tony
