Hi Guys, Can I chime in here? The monthly groups are just groups who give extra support to their fellow quitters from that month. (btw Kayla, you are still a march mellow, like it or not ;)) I think some groups have become more cohesive than others and contact each other through email and phone. As Moss said, it is nice to have other people who are going through this ride on the same general time frame. How about the November No-embers? You three are all doing great. Keep up the good work! And, yes Kayla, it is really something to enjoy this year isn't it? Thanks Freedom, and "Congrats to you" as well. I hope things keep getting better. Most days are ok but a few are still kicking me in the a**. Maybe some one will chime in here and give us some guidance on the group idea. I have a terrible dial-up internet connection most of the time so for me the IM communication buddy list is a no-go. I guess we can just start a thread and give each other a holler, too. Let's see how many November folks we get and we will figure out from there. I know I would enjoy being able to bounce off someone with nearly the same mileage under their belt. I have also enjoyed reading the posts from both of you so far. Congrats on 1 month Moss! Isn't it an amazing feeling!The toughest part is over and now you can really look forward to enjoying life as a non smoker! Looks like the 3 of us have a lot in common, especially quitting! I look forward to checking in with you guys as we go through this journey together. You might be right about this being the only way that a monthly quit group starts although check back here to make sure our wonderful tech support hasn't answered back. There may actual be some sort of side post or group for each month. If there isn't already, any names that you would suggest? Novembreathers is all I came up with and something tells me that it already exists, plus I'm not all too creative and would love a fantastic name for all our November quitters!
