Hi, I get the same feeling from time to time. When I first notice it I was waking up in the morning and I felt the tingling through my body. I found out if I stretch it goes away quicker.

Hi sara! I know this feeling all to well! Basicly what happens is, subconsciously your mind is stuck on something, it has a thought, it sends a shock of juice to the little part in your brain that shouldnt be working while watching t.v.! The tingly feeling is basicly like your mind waking your body and system up. Giving your nerves a little shock. It can be a very scary feeling, but you just have to tell yourself, it is ok! It is normal, and it cannot hurt me! To get yourself to stop thinking about it, well that you will have to figure out for yourself. I wish I knew the cure for that problem! Just try to tell yourself, its ok, its normal, it might even happen again, but if it does, I already know what it is going to do, and I know it cant hurt me, and it will go away. Self talk helps alot! God Bless. -MrCrazyCool

Hi Sarabrooke. I also get that spacy feeling. I think I must get just about every anxiety feeling that there is! The spaciness feeling I find is one of the most scary and does always seem to feel like I'm going to pass out. My answer to this when it happens and usually when I get any other anxiety symptom is to get busy. I try to occupy my mind. I usually find moving around helps so I most often clean something in the house and I find that after a little while I've forgotten why I had originally started cleaning. Because I had occupied my mind I didnt focus on that symptom as much. I also find if I get a really bad symptom that I do hang on to the memory of it for awhile. The next day my partner might say lets go out somewhere and I immediately think but I can't because I had this weird symptom yesterday and it might happen again. When this happens I just talk myself out of it usually by saying don't be silly of course it won't happen, what are you going to do, stay in the house on the off chance it might happen when I'm out or are you going to go out and have some fun. I usually opt for going out and if it happens then I try to see it as a challenge so that if it happens while I'm out again I can tell myself, well it's happened before and I handled it so I can handle it again. Don't know if any of that will help - I tend to babble on a bit!!!!

Hi everyone! I have now had anxiety for about 5 years. I'm starting to consider myself a "pro" when it comes to this subject. I usually feel well enough to do my regular stuff. I have an 11 month old baby and I go to school so I'm kind of tired most of the time which may contribute to my anxiety. My problem now is... today when I was watching t.v., all of a sudden out of the blue I got this "weird" feeling. It's kind of hard to describe but it felt like tingeling all through my body and it scared me, I felt like passing out, but I knew I wouldn't pass out, it's just the only feeling I can compare it to. I wonder why this happens all of a sudden? I did wake up feeling a little tired and bothered. My parents have a lot to do with my anxiety and I saw the both of them last night. Who really knows why this happened anyway? But now, all day long, I keep going back to that feeling and can't seem to let it go. I feel angry that it happened you know. Like...GO AWAY!! Anybody have any thoughts on this one? Has it ever happened to anyone?
