Terrific post Lillyput, and thank you for including me. I don't feel that I do all that much except cheer for fellow quitters. I really believe that quitting smoking is the greatest gift I have ever given myself and my family. You have shown that although it's harder for a woman to quit then it is for a man, it can be done!!!
You are to be commended for sticking with it, and making it happen!!

I know what you mean I get day's when I have a strong feeling that I am missing something I find myself checking my bag or pockets thinking I am forgetting somthing important I guss because we did it for so long it will take time for this feeling to go away. I never thought I could be strong enough to keep my quit because everything I ever did in my life was with a smoke. I am really glad I stopped I do feel so much better now no coughing all the time no wheeze at night and being able to walk without gasping it's worth all the effort. I never want go back. You know ML, I am so proud of all of us for having the courage to stop I hope we can all keep going as you said it's just one day at a time.
