Also congrats on NOT smoking. Also hoping they can correct the problem while they have you there. What a great time to quit.. each cigarette cause vessel constriction.. so you will be over the big hurdle once the repair is made. I know the news "sucks" but it is also good they found the blockage.. before something worse happened..
Sending you warm wishes and hugs... you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Looking forward to hearing from you soon, Bonnie

Our thoughts are with you. Your recovery time will be that much easier if you don't smoke, so keep the resolve and take it one day at a time. We are here for you.
Hang in there buddy, you're on the right road for sure. I believe things are going to work out well for you in the long run. Keep the quit during all this, it must be hard but don't give back any ground. Smoking won't help/solve any of these issues. You already know that I'm sure.
We're here man - talk to us when you need to.

Thank you for venting. It is good for others too. That you can go through all of this and still not smoke is nothing less than amazing. I can understand the devastation of hearing something that bad and scary is wrong with you. That along with the possibility of surgery. My neighbor and best friend recently had to have 3 stints put in on an emergency situation, he almost lost his stubborn life before he would let me get him to the hospital. He was up and walking within a few hours of the surgery and he looked 1000% better. He had to stay longer in the hospital because there were other issues going on with him, and believe it or not, this was one of the easiest for them to fix. I had another friend who had a triple bypass, 27 years ago, who also looked and felt better from the time he woke up from surgery. He was home in 4 days, and that was before they were doing the surgery as well as they are now. He said he felt he had a new lease on life. I know it can be frightening to face such an awesome situation and I am so proud of you for not smoking in the face of such adversity. You will be in my prayers. You have already been in my heart and I consider you a friend. Take care Steve and keep the faith and keep the quit. People do care.
Always,
Pupikat
