Thank you all for the rescue. That was a bad one.
Ok, I'm back from a long walk and cold shower. Thank you for the idea Stickin. Removing myself from the incident was what I needed.
Good workout and good release. I started to get a little teary while walking because what happened this morning was a bitter, bitter disappointment to me. It never ceases to amaze me that people don't keep their word. OK, so I'm on a learning curve to handle emotions. Just a small freak out on the road to success, right???
I'll remember all of your comments the next time I'm hopping mad.
Goofy - yes, it's true. I do care but maybe a little too much. That is what happens when your work is your passion, I guess. Wish I was logical but I will follow your lead and drink tea. The cold glass of water I might dump on my head. :)
Lisa - yes that's right stinky poo!! Not for me!
Sparky- nope, sure don't. I like that kleenex idea. LOL
Daily - The walk was great. Hate to sound like a dolt but what is UNCNOPE? I know NOPE but the other is not coming to me. ???
And CD - You are dead on. Yeah (sigh) out of my control. When will I learn that? I'm such a hard head.
I will keep these things in mind for next time. That was the problem... didn't prepare, couldn't cope. Big, big, so big thanks to you guys!!!
Luckily we live on hill so any walk involves a lot of puffing and panting to get home. Great to see the benefits of not smoking, I actually can make it up the hill without keeling over!!
xoxo to you all!!!
your pal,
Henny
