Bless you, Mr. Q. Good thing you quit smoking. I also have damaged my lungs. In 2006 I was told I was in the beginning stages of COPD. I quit, but then started back. Ended up recently in the hospital with O2 up my nose. My lung function
really sucks. Hence, this quit. I smoked 2+ packs a day for 36 years. Quit smoking now and never, ever, ever go back. The tissue you have already destroyed will never regenerate, but you can improve your lung function considerably by staying smoke free. Congrats on 86 days and wishing you a long life of a smoke-free and healthy lifestyle!
