Hi!

40 days!  It's hard to believe.

Okay, so not the flu-- and thank you for the get well wishes.  I have in my happy hand antibiotics!  Hooray for antibiotics.  Horrible sinus infection, double ear infections....  finally broke down and went to the doctors this morning because I kept getting worse.

Not a fan of being sick that's for sure.  But I'm also trying to make the best of it.  Don't have to work, don't want to smoke, no appetite.... those are all good things

Crawling back into bed now.  Gonna think about those good things and my 40 days.
Deb

Hey, Jazz

Thanks for checking up on me.  Easter was hectic and I was rundown..... so I have just been laying around feeling really sick.  Cigarettes are actually the last thing I would want right now .  That is one plus for the flu!  I'll check in soon.

deb,

It is so good to hear you have found the support here helpful. As you become comfortable as a non-smoker, the cravings will become easier to handle. You can do this!

Wow, thanks so much you guys.

I can't tell you how wonderful it was to come home from a hard day and be able to sit and read such supportive posts.  I'm finding the cravings are still coming, but I'm able to handle them better and they don't last as long.  There are times I even forget about smoking completely!  Those are very good moments.

Thanks for your support MM, you are such a wonderful addition around here!  Are you are constantly making me laugh which is the best way for me to get through rough things.

Jan, I'm going to take you up on that advice!  When I stop checking in here, I veer off path.  Maybe someday I won't have to be here everyday, but for now, it's very important.  Thank you for your support.

Jazz, you and Jan are our hero's.  You both know that, right?  Look at the time you have!  And I appreciate so much that you both are willing to give time to all of the new people.  It really is inpiring and gives us all hope.

Marivi, I had totally forgotten about the cruise!  I am getting closer.  I love these little weirdo rewards we have!  They actually provide a tangible goal that I want to reach.

And Moss, I actually spend time looking through the posts you have made because reading what you have written is like drinking a glass of water after being lost in the desert.  You are such a gift and I appreciate you, along with Jazz and Jan, for what you have all given back here.  Amazing people you are.

Angie, you are doing so well!  You are going to have 100 days tomorrow!!!!!!  Way to go!  You have really handle your quit with so much composure and grace.  I also appreciate the support you have given me.  Thank you for being there.

:) and Jim.  You always make me smile.  Thank you too for being one of folks giving back.  We are so lucky to have you around.

HP!  I'm so glad you have dropped back in!  I've missed you a lot and was so happy to see you again.  Thanks for being here-- supporting and sweet as usual.  Thank you.

And your post made me smile so much, Dave.  I'm working on it and still have my bad days.  But it is getting so much better.  And you also are doing so so well!  I'm really glad that you're here.  My friend.
