Hi Jessica
Good news is you know why you are having anxiety and panic, because of your husbands deployment. If you start now working on understanding why you are reacting to his deployment you will develop "tools" or ways to start coping with how you are feeling.
CBT therapy is also a good way to help you understand and work to recovery from panic and anxiety.
Being overconcerned about health issues is common. It is because you become so introspective and concerned with what is going on in your body and less intrested in what is happening in day to day life.
Take a short cut thru the anguish and get the book "Hope and Help For Your Nerves" by Claire Weekes.
take care
well i just joined this site hoping for some understanding. i recently started having anxiety and panic episodes for the past 2 or 3 months. i dont know if im experiencing this because my husband is getting deployed to japan for 1 year or what. it is the worst feeling i have ever experienced. everyone tells me it will go away in time, but it doesnt feel like it will. i went to the doctor and he said that its from my husband getting deployed. i also feel like im a hypcondriac. im always worrying about my health it seems neverending. i constantly check my neck for lumps because im so scared of getting cancer for some reason. i feel my arm is weak, my eyes twitch. i feel a mess! well if someone can write back that would be real comforting.thanks....
