Lilliput and Rock:
You are so right! Nosmoking has given me a sense of freedom I wasn't aware of!
It is great to go to bed without worying about how many cigarrettes are left in my pack.
It is great to know that I can take an 8 hours fight without dying for a cigarrette!
It is great to visit my mom without having to go outside to smoke.
It is great to have fun at a party and not screan because I have no cigarrettes left!
It is great to know I won't longer lie to my doctor about the amount of cigarrettes I smoke!
Have a great evening!

Lilliput, I remember a thread when I first quit about the things people missed in life due to smoking.  So not only do these quick puffers suffer from guilt, I wonder how many of them missed the birth of a child, missed the last breath of a loved one, missed that important phone call, missed the winning touchdown, missed the grand finale, missed a flight, missed a ride, missed the winning number, and every other important event in life?  They may only take a few puffs in fear they are going to miss something.  But the way life usually works, that big event probably happened during the first puff, and some important life event was missed.  Isn't it amazing what control the nicodemon had on our lives?  But now smoking is in our past!  Isn't it great knowing that we won't miss out on the important things in life since we don't need to run outside for smoke breaks anymore?  Thank you for reminding me of the freedom quitting brings!

It's 9.32 pm here in Dublin it's been a long day I was out and about all day. I am kinda tired now But its a nice kind of tiredness unlike when I smoked it was exhaustion and lack of oxygen. But one thing  I found my self doing today that I haven't done in a long time I was watching the smokers  I use to do this in the early stages of my quit back then I worried that I might mug one of them for a smoke,
Jocking aside I couldn't help noticing how they lit up took a couple of puffs and put it out and  hurried back to what they where supposed to be doing looking guilty and none of them looking too happy probable worrying about when they can get the next fix.
I think Quitting brings freedom from all of this it brings a calmness and ease that is so nice I took a good look to day and was so happy this was no longer me.

Hope you all had a nice smoke free day.
