Lilliput, I remember a thread when I first quit about the things people missed in life due to smoking. So not only do these quick puffers suffer from guilt, I wonder how many of them missed the birth of a child, missed the last breath of a loved one, missed that important phone call, missed the winning touchdown, missed the grand finale, missed a flight, missed a ride, missed the winning number, and every other important event in life? They may only take a few puffs in fear they are going to miss something. But the way life usually works, that big event probably happened during the first puff, and some important life event was missed. Isn't it amazing what control the nicodemon had on our lives? But now smoking is in our past! Isn't it great knowing that we won't miss out on the important things in life since we don't need to run outside for smoke breaks anymore? Thank you for reminding me of the freedom quitting brings!
