I'm pretty determined or I would have already given in. I stay with a bunch of guys right now and they all smoke. Once in a while it smells good, but in general it stinks real bad. Even my clothes that i have washed at least twice since I quit still have some odor. So I want this!  I want a life! I dont like being ashamed at a bad habit I have, stinking all the time. I had myself convinced that I didnt smell like other smokers, since you dont smell it on yourself. I remember when I was with my kids, I would wash up, put on cologne and brush my teeth to tuck them in because the smell bothered them. What a way to have to live! I hated it! I was always hiding it, from my boss, people I respected, people I knew that didnt smoke. I was living a lie of sorts, it was terrible! I dont want to live that way anymore.

We are here for you through the good times and the bad. It sounds like you are determined to see this through, am I right?

Keep your eye on the prize, and always remember to reward yourself! You deserve it!

I was looking at a post I made yesterday and then one today. It's like night and day! Sorry to be a cry baby! I was in a pretty happy mood in the later part of the day. Now today I have really nothing to do and I have more time to realize how I feel. Still trying to put my life back together through this. So, it's not an easy time period with doing the quit. But I need to do this. I need everything I can do on my side to make a comeback. I sure hope it makes a difference! Thanks for putting up with me.

Lance,

The longer the quit, the easier it will become. You are going through that hardest part, stay strong and keep posting!

Members, please share how it feels to be a non-smoker after a month or two months.

To all the veterans in quitting. What's it like after say a month and longer? How do you feel? Depression from quitting lift. I can't imagine. Thought it might be nice to have something to look forward to at tis point. Thanks
